Meet Jovan
Singer | Songwriter | Music Producer | Co-Founder of Harmon-ee Music
Jovan is a vocalist and seasoned performer who grew up in Singapore, with 20 years of experience performing across a wide range of settings. He began singing at a young age through family events, choir, and both background and lead vocal roles, gradually developing into a versatile and confident performer. Over the years, he has performed at community events, weddings, private functions, corporate engagements, and government events.
With a repertoire spanning both Mandarin and English, Jovan draws inspiration from contemporary pop and pop-rock, infused with smooth jazz-pop influences, bringing depth, emotion, and musicality to every performance. Beyond performing, he frequently takes on leadership roles within vocal groups, contributing to harmony work, song arrangement, and offering guidance on performance dynamics and stage presence.
As a songwriter and studio vocalist, Jovan has recorded and collaborated both locally and internationally, including projects with United Records in Singapore and Harmony Studios in Anaheim, California. His creative strengths extend to music arranging, particularly in crafting rich and expressive vocal harmonies for both solo and ensemble settings.
In 2019, Jovan co-founded Harmon-ee Music with his wife, Iveta, offering live music for events, vocal coaching, and piano instruction. He released his debut solo single “Onward” in 2021, followed by their duet single “Purpose” in 2023. The duo is currently developing new original music set for release in 2026.
With a passion for creativity, excellence, and heartfelt storytelling, Jovan continues to bring artistry, leadership, and authenticity to every part of his musical journey.
Meet Iveta
Singing Pianist & Songwriter | Vocal Coach & Music Educator | Co-Founder of Harmon-ee Music
Iveta is a contemporary singing pianist, vocal coach, and multifaceted music educator with two decades of experience across performance, contemporary piano, vocal pedagogy, band leadership, and artist development. A certified graduate of the New York Vocal Coaching Voice Teacher Training and Certification Course, she brings deep expertise in functional vocal technique and contemporary performance training—grounded in one of the leading voice training institutions in the United States.
As a pianist, Iveta blends classical foundations with 23 years of contemporary playing, live performance, and band collaboration. She has served as both lead singer and music director, developing arrangements, directing musicians, and running rehearsals. Her real-world experience extends to live sound and audio engineering for small-scale events and rehearsals, giving her a rare ability to guide modern musicians in the full spectrum of performance—from technique to technology to artistry.
Born and raised in California to Latvian immigrant parents, Iveta’s musical journey began early, shaped by diverse influences and a deep appreciation for storytelling through music. In 2017, she moved to Singapore with her husband and creative partner, Jovan Tang, and together they co-founded Harmon-ee Music in 2019, where Iveta continues to teach, mentor, and perform.
As a singer-songwriter, Iveta released her debut album Only One in 2018, a collection of ten original tracks produced by Erwin Rocha and released under Volsa Entertainment/RediRecords. She is currently working on a two-part follow-up project: a deeply personal dual album set, tentatively scheduled for release in 2026. The two volumes—the Real Story and I’m Building a Better Place—feature 35 original songs that tell a story of unraveling, healing, and rebuilding . This ambitious body of work reflects Iveta’s evolution as both artist and person, with select songs featuring long-time collaborator Jovan Tang.
Beyond music, Iveta is also known for her voice acting on the Singapore-based television series Giganto Club, where she brings to life the characters Roxy, Mazu, and Tiny. Whether performing, teaching, or producing, Iveta brings heart, artistry, and professionalism to every project—nurturing a love of music in audiences and students alike.
How We Met
“We first met in Singapore in 2014 through school and quickly bonded over our shared love for music. Beyond that, we discovered we had similar values, a deep connection, and natural chemistry.
Shortly after, Iveta returned to California, and we began a long-distance relationship. For the next three years, we maintained our connection across continents—meeting twice a year as Iveta flew back to Singapore and Jovan visited California.
In 2017, we made the decision to start a new chapter together and got married. Iveta then relocated to Singapore, where we’ve continued to grow as partners in life and music.”
